Rated 4 out of 5 by Demi from Very stylish and crisp My Esquire is only a few weeks old but I continue to grow to love it. It is very pretty and slick and you would expect from an HK product. It connects very well to my Macbook air and my iPhone. For some reason iTunes is activated when my laptop connects, but no big deal. Probably my only non-stellar comment is that the base is not as robust as I was expecting (but it is still good). Also, I cannot advance through playlists from the Esquire (but again no big deal). I have used the bluetooth as a speaker phone for my iPhone and that does well. Need to be within 3 feet of the device to be clearly heard though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DJPA from Superior Product I travel a lot and have been looking for a high quality bluetooth speaker to serve two purposes: listening to music and audioconferencing. I have used this product for five months now extensively for both purposes and I could not be happier with it, and I am fussy about sound quality too--hard to please! It is beautifully made, quality throughout, excellent battery life, and easy to use. I am also very pleased with the square form of it as it makes it very suitcase/packing friendly. I find myself using the Esquire around the house now too with my iPhone for music and podcasts. If you are looking for a very well designed and quality speaker for these two purposes I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dannyj from Finally another great design !!!! Just bought this last night, did quite some research and listened too all competing products in price bracket and the HK esquire not only looks great it sounds amazing. It has more range volume and quality over the other products in same category. The Bose mini is great as is the new jbl but the HK esquire is like combining the two and some for a fraction more. Well worth it !!! Also it has a charger for both your phone and tablet and conference call mode !!! Ideal for portable offices also ! The design is fairly comparable to apple in terms of quality and concept ! Great work guys !

Rated 2 out of 5 by RodG from Garbage It shuts off after 5 minutes if you're not using it. Then when it detects sound, it takes 5 seconds to turn on, so you have to rewind your songs and videos. This design SUCKS. Why would they put an auto-shut off when the device is PLUGGED UP???? idiots. And then it won't connect nicely to windows bluetooth. It loses the pairing after 7 to 10 days. so you have to remove it, and then repair it, but most of the time it won't be detected again. This device is garbage. Don't waste your time with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by goodgord from This is the business! A very smart piece of kit - great battery life, sounds fresh and bold and big, despite its small, compact suitcase-friendly form factor. If you're doing some internet research, you may read a few mixed reviews about sound quality, but since I bought mine, it seems that the Esquire is really tuned to be listened to from 3-8 ft away at higher volume- when you blast yourself in the face with this thing, like you do if you are sitting at a desk, it doesn't seem like the sound can spread out properly, and so you can hear some clipping and distortion - but step back and watch that disappear, and the speaker will easily fill the room with amazing depth and clarity. (For desk use, just turn it down a little!) All in all, the Esquire really is quite an impressive unit. Conference calls are a bonus, and the style, fit and finish is absolutely first class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris89265 from Amazing sound, great design I bought this looking for a high quality portable speaker, it has blown me away. I listen to hip-hop mostly and this thing plays it loud. Not as much bass as other good portable speakers but amazing sound. Design is amazing, quality is unmatched. Love it. battery is great too, lasts longer than you would ever go without charging it. Would have preferred the black and silver but im really happy with the white on silver.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Me1234 from Great sound but faulty design? The sound on this is awesome and I love the portability. However, after 6 months of light use, the USB charger will not charge the speaker. The connection seems to no longer fit and the unit has been stationary. It just stopped working. I've been searching support sites to find out how to get it fixed with no luck. FOr the price, it should be made better

Rated 5 out of 5 by r34v from Great so far I loved the sound and people seem to hear me on the other side well without having to raise my voice. I did have one conference call where the presenter was using a VOIP line and had a hard time understanding the 5 people we had in the room. I will keep on trying the product to see if this was a glitch or I need to do a software update or something.
