IENC is rated 3.4170212765957446 out of 5 by 235.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from These headphones are just plainly, bad! These headphones just sound really bad. Without the "noise cancelation" turned on, the headphones have a very weak and flat sound to the point where anyone talking in the same room while listening to these will be heard way louder than the music coming out of the headphones. The noise cancelation, isn't a noise cancelation unit at all. It just boosts the gain (volume) of the music. I used an iPhone 6 and a Pono player to test these and both devices, though should be capable of driving these headphones sounded bad. I have no clue how the other listeners actually like these. I feel like the headphones that come with any smartphone will be better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from the price was too good to be true I bought this thinking wow, i've got a steal on some really expensive headphones, come to find out it's no better than a 10$ headphone or your factory headphones. When i saw it retails for 200$ i thought i found the best deal for a low price. i was really hoping for one of the best experience of high quality sound. In reality it's no good, save your money and go to a store and try out some better brand headphones. It frustrates me how i have to charge the headphones too when it doesn't even produce any top notch sound. I really love the brand of harman/kardon but now i'm having second thoughts on every time i look, touch, or hear harman/kardon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost, but doesn't work for me I purchased these headphones on extreme sale so I am relatively happy with them but I would undoubtedly return them if I had paid full price. The earbuds are fairly large, so I cannot wear them for large periods of time without taking breaks. The sound quality was great, until I had used them for about a month when they started crackling and playing distorted sounds. I have reached out to customer service, and it is possible that I got a dud pair, but I am very surprised that after very low usage they are not working.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whoa, I was deaf, but now I hear! I didn't expect too much from the okay reviews I've read but I wanted to try Harman Kardon for a change from my usual Apple earphone, and whoa! I was deaf but now I hear! I can hear everything in a song, so much more like 75% more than I did before, and I am not talking about volume but the clarity. For those who think it's bulky, the noise cancelling box is non-existent to me if i can hear this well, I'd gladly carry this box in my heart. Seriously, it's not that big. I've seen a lot of folks in the gym with this noise-cancelling tiny boxes and they look cool. The flight adapter is a nice convenience for me. I highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Purchased on super sale, totally worth it These were on super sale and they were amazing for <$50 in ear noise cancelling headphones! I use them everyday on my commute on the train, where it's super loud. They don't cancel everything, but it does help a lot and the sound quality is great. They work so well I even bought a second pair as a present! While switching out the earbud sizes, the plastic in-ear earbud ripped so I had to use other plastic in-ear earbuds from other headphones. There's also these weird plastic stabilizers that kept moving around and falling off, so I removed them - but they still work and fit fine. If these weren't on massive sale, I don't think I would have purchased them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from IENC...not worth the money Build is good, infact premium. Noise cancellation is decent, I have not tested yet inside a train or plane. Wires are rubbery, thick and slightly stiff...to avoid tangling, but this also makes it very heavy. No noise induced due to rubbing of wires with your body while walking. Now the bad part....provided buds will cover majority of ear circumferential sizes, but the length of the buds is to short....that makes the casing to hit your ear cannals before they get sealed off by the buds. And this defies the purpose of these earphones. So at least I can't recommend them to any one, not a good buy even at discounted price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These are NOT active noise cancelling headphones While these headphones have good sound quality, they absolutely do not actively cancel outside noise. I've tried changing the silicone ear cups to unsure a good fit and checked them against low, mid, and high frequency external noise while listening to a variety of audio sources, and all I can say is that they do not perform any noise cancellation at all. Zero. Zip. Nada. They are, effectively, no better than earbuds available at the local big box stores for under $10. They can't compete with active noise cancelling headphones from even lower tier competitors, let alone other premium brand name competitors. I can't even express fully how disappointing this product is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but could be better While unpacking the product I noticed there is no true manual just a quickstart guide that is virtually useless. It only names the parts not their function. How long does the battery pack need to be charged? What is the affect of turning this on/off? There is no volume up/down button on the line control, this is a deficiency for a product in this price range. The rubber/silicone loop that goes into the ear channel is very thick and may not fit that many ears comfortably. The cord is too long so you have a pocket full of cord that is unwieldy. The sound is pretty good though.
