ES150P is rated 4.578947368421052 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Performance. I convinced my grandparents to purchase this sub, after they were reluctant at first to upgrade any of the old and outdated components from their previous home theater setup. Needless to say, once this beauty arrived we were all impressed, to say the least. This is a very high performing (and powerful) sub that not only plays loudly, but also crystal clear. Movies become an immersive and life-like experience, and music is filled with deep-end presence that was previously lacking. The sub's performance was (and still is!) so great that my grandparents decided to completely upgrade their entire home-theater system to JBL's matching ES series speakers. Would highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such loudness. Much Power. Very bass. So these were on an insane sale when I bought them (169.99 ea). So I bought two of them. And put them in my tiny little bedroom. I have to say, I regret nothing. These things are amazing. I played "Turn Down For What" first thing (because that's the most bass-heavy song I know) with the gain at 50%. Car alarms were going off outside my house. I mean, it makes me want to cry. I love these things with all my heart. After the initial craze, I turned the gain down to 25% and left it there. They really do complement my KEF C35 speakers with a Nakamichi (Yes, I do really care about quality) amp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A carrying handle on top would make this a 5 star If I were using this for an audio setup where it didn't have to be moved frequently I would give this speaker 5 stars. It sounds great so far, but I have not used it much yet. I'm using it instead of a mammoth 18 in sub-woofer enclosure and it sounds just as good in situations where I don't need as much volume. So far I'm very happy with it, but only time will tell how it will last. The only downside is it's a bit awkward to carry but again it's not really designed to be moved around a lot. Also, the front grille is a bit flimsy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mind Boggling Bass I've had this sub for about 3 months now and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. One nice feature is how sensitive the auto turn on/off is. What I mean is even the slightest signal from my amp to the RCA inputs will turn it on (even my phone signal will turn it on). That may sound kinda obvious but I have a Polk Audio 10" and it will turn off while I'm listening to music and it is clearly producing sound. Another great feature is how low the sub gets. It will hit the deep, deep tones and will handle them like nothing else. The 300 watts RMS allows it to get those low continuous frequencies AND own them. It's a great looking home theater sub with a massive down firing port and I have just ordered a pair of ES30 bookshelf speakers to match it. Overall, it's a great subwoofer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the power I could want. I have paired this with Infinity Primus 163 Bookshelfs and Primus PC251 center. When I play music CDs such as classical piano it sounds like a piano in the room (it is a large bedroom). With classic rock it sounds great. With movies, the sound effects are great. When a space ship takes off hold on to your seat! I like the sound system so much I watched 2 action movies in one day! (The rating I applied below for value applies to a sale price and not the everyday price.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Necessary I bought this subwoofer because mine new subwoofer that i bought in july 2014, it's not good. It make a very strong noise, and I can't use it. I bring this subwoofer to Brasil, and nobody, could help me wich it! I want tell that it is in guarantee yet, but Harman Brasil, sad they can't give me guarantee ! Its very boring! I'm in Brasil now, and I will go to USA in Marc, and I will check the new subwoofer ! I hope honestly, it's better, that this i bought last year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Filled out my total sound This sub is a definite improvement over my previous Orbit sub. The system now has a much fuller sound overall. Unfortunately, it points out the weaknesses in the rest of my sound/theater system. It may be time for a complete upgrade as it shows me what I've been missing and the potential for a much richer sounding stereo/home theater system.
