"Eureka...I found it!"
I had tried a could different brands before. I tried each for a few days only to realize the bass was either too extreme and the treble too weak in comparison, or the bass was kinda "flat" (changing the sound setting on my new Samsung Galaxy S6 did NOT help). So, I was discouraged enough to return both and wasn't ready to make another choice yet. Two weeks later, today, I walked into my favorite electronics store, went straight over to the portable sound system section, and did the demo of the JBL Charge 2+ and INSTANTLY loved the wonderful treble and bass. Clarity and deep perfect bass! I bought one and believe it's "keeper"!

Small box, BIG/Loud Sound
I originally bought the Charge and then saw that the Charge 2 was coming out. I wanted to upgrade to the Charge 2 because of the sleek look. I am very happy now that I have upgraded to the 2.
The sound is great. I love the fact that there are two subwoofer (bass) now. It vibrates on both ends and really shows how strong and loud it can get.
The sleek look and feel is a nice change from the Charge 1. It's definitely more sophisticated in appearance.
- sleek design
- great bass and sound
- unique design (like a mini-torpedo)
- easy to sync up to wifi devices
- there is NO carrying pouch like the Charge 1
Overall, I really like the 2. The sound is great!

Like most anyone i wasn't really sure what to get as far as a new bluetooth speaker that sounded great and was portable. I spent time watching youtube reviews and reading other reviews like this one. If you like having a portable speaker that still has great bass then this is the speaker for you and it will also keep your phone or i pod charged when you need it. Also it sounds way better than the original JBL charge, way more bass in this one. It does vary from song to song, but it is very impressive how good this sounds. It sounds better than other speakers like it in best buy and walmart that they have on display.

I received my speaker about 2 days ago. I love it. I made sure I did all of the proper research before I bought it because honestly 150 is a lot for something like this. But I now see that it's worth every penny. The sound quality is amazing! The bass is great. I don't even have to have the volume up halfway to get a room filling sound. The only downside is that it did not come with a case. I would think that something like that would be included. Guess not. Now I have to spend more time and money trying to find something I can keep it in safely. Until then i'm going to be paranoid about something happening to it.

Nothing like it!
I bought this speaker from a Dixons outlet at work, for no particular reason. I'm quite a fan of sound systems and like the experience that these speakers put out. But I must admit I've never heard nor come across anything like this. It looks professional and adapts to any environment you put it in. It nice to hold and easy to grip, After hearing mines I've managed to convince my manager to buy one and a colleague to buy two! The speaker is just great from all angles. Its well presented, simple to use and is a pleasure to listen to. It makes any song of any genre sound good. I'm very impressed! highly recommended!

I got this for christmas as a gift from my mother. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. The sound quality is truly excellent. I have had a few bluetooth speakers before and this one is orders of magnitude better. Tight, firm bass and clear mids and highs. Sounds great for any genre of music as well as podcasts and TV shows.
The battery life is excellent. On a full charge, this product can go somewhere between 8 and 10 hours. It does take a while to charge (about 6 hours).
The features are awesome too. Especially social mode. It totally eliminates the party dilemma when you have a few friends that would all like to play songs. It works flawlesslly. Overall 10/10.

GREAT Speaker!! but where is case to protect it?
Great Sound !!! Best of any in it's class. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the following shortcomings:
#1- Needs case to protect it, & store charger & USB cable. Sleek & stylish, but too easy to damage.
#2- Needs app for remote control.
#3- Passive Radiators should have protection. Too tempting to touch as they vibrate, especially for kids. Saw a store display where Passive Radiators were distorted from people poking too much.
#4- It would be nice if it had a screw mount centered on the bottom for a small tripod. This would allow the speaker to have space underneath, which would give better sound quality.

Awesome wireless speaker!
I bought a JBL Flip last December and it's really nice. Then I bought the JBL J46BT headphones and liked them too. So, when it came time to add another Bluetooth to my collection for another location this model was the obvious choice. It doesn't seem to have the volume level of the Flip but the sound is so much richer with more bass. When using the hands free phone I was told that the caller on the other end could hear me much clearer with the Charge 2 vs. the Flip. (That not why I bought it so that really isn't important to me. The extra battery life and USB port is very appreciated. Keep up the good work!

Can you play two at a time from the same source??
The CHARGE 2 or 2+ does not have the Connect function which the FLIP 3 has. With that said, you can't connect the FLIP 3 to the CHARGE2/2+ of your friend
wirelessly. However you can connect them via a hardwired connection using an AUX splitter cable. Speakers that have the Connect feature are the following: FLIP 3, CHARGE 3, PULSE 2 and the XTREME.

Does this have an aux input? Does it have the capability to plug a device in using a stereo cable
The CHARGE 2 has an AUX port which is near the charging port. You can use the regular 3.5mm AUX cable to connect it to your device. However, if i understood you correctly with the stereo cable that you are asking, the CHARGE 2 does not have an RCA port which would allow you to use the RCA stereo cables.

Had speaker 4 1 month. Won't charge or turn on.why did this happen? Not happy about this.
What you are experiencing is not normal. It sounds like the CHARGE 2 is not holding a charge. Try using a different USB charging cable at an alternate power source and let it charge for maximum of 4 hours. If this doesn't help, it may have developed a fault. Please submit a case at www.harmanaudio.com/contactus for information regarding your warranty options.

Does this Bluetooth Speaker allow me to play songs from a desktop computer via Bluetooth?
You can use the speaker with a computer/laptop as long as the computer has the capability to stream audio wirelessly. The speaker can accept audio signals from Bluetooth enabled devices if the device is capable of streaming that audio signal which the speaker needs. Your computer/laptop should be capable of streaming audio via Bluetooth(A2DP Protocol). If your computer does not have that feature, you will still be able to connect the speakers but no audio will be heard. Make sure that the Bluetooth drivers of your computer are up to date for the speakers to work with your computer/laptop.

This website says the Charge 2 can charge my smartphone but does not say how. Do I simply plug the USB cord into the port on the back of the speaker and into the charging port on my phone? Does the speaker battery have to be fully charged?
