The Studio 590 floorstanding loudspeaker's 8-inch (200-millimeter), cast-frame low-frequency transducers produce powerful bass output in the JBL® tradition. Its PolyPlas™ woofer cones are ribbed for strength and stiffness, which reduce distortion for precise cone movement. Rubber woofer surrounds permit long cone excursions for increased output with minimal heat and distortion, even at high listening levels. And a rear-facing port increases and extends bass output and response.
