Invoke is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 103.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Invoke! It needs to be advertised more. Love the quality of sound and love Cortana, much smarter than Alexa at everyday stuff and smart homes. Use Invoke more than the three Echo's around the house. In ways it does more and ways it does less than Echo, but I love that Invoke/Cortana has more intelligence and not just doing label matches with smart home things. It works well with Samsung SmartThings and Emerson Sensi thermostats (Sensi's cost much less too others). Did I say I love to sound quality - for the size of the device it really is fantastic. It will not thump your house but lows in vocals and other non-extreme lows sound great. Brass, classical, jazz, country, Christian and vocal music is very good. Hip Hop not so great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully designed very premium...Love Cortana I bought this for me and one for my dad, so far it's been amazing...setup could not have been easier, sound quality for music and calls is crystal clear, home automation commands work but could be faster (submitted feedback to Microsoft)...seems like it waits a bit too long when a command is given to verbalize and execute. If I say set lights to 10% it waits for a few seconds of silence before it responds. Hope you and Microsoft continue to improve on this device and connected smart home features! Cortana is awesome she sounds great and is very useful for reminders, lists, quick knowledge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive speaker The fit and finish on this speaker is top notch and it feels solid. The sound and volume output is excellent for its size as well (maybe a tad bright), and the mics work easily across the room. Playback with Spotify Premium sounds especially good. Cortana works well and supports all the basic digital assistant tasks (fact lookups, math calculations, reminders, timers etc.), and the list of skills has expanded quite a bit over the past couple of months (still waiting on Pandora integration however and would also like to see the ability to stream audio directly from Windows itself) I also regularly use the speaker paired to Bluetooth so I can play things like Amazon music that aren't directly supported. Not too much to complain about, but I wish this speaker also had a line in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 6 out of 10 I used it for a month and have different fillings for it. First the sound is not as I expected, it has a great quality but don’t have any bass. Sonud is 5 out of 10 for that price tag. The materials and build quality is 10 out of 10. Its feels solid and expensive.9 out of 10 design(it will be grate if it ligts up when playing music) Im not using Cortana and cant leave any positive or negative feedback. The biggest problem that I expected in Invoke is very big sound delay when using Bluetooth connection (about 3-5 sec). It’s makes unable to watch movies or YouTube. If h/k fix that problem Invoke will be 8 out of 10 .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cortana I've owned invoke since October. This is an excellent speaker. Very high quality and nice design. It is very durable. Cortana is the smartest and best AI out there. It's speech recognition is near perfect. Compared to Alexa, Siri and Google home Cortana is more capable and able to reach the desired information more appropriately. Music and podcasts are fun through Spotify and tune in. Disadvantages: they need to have more smart home companies on board.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Severely lacking basic features Skype for Business support.... Nope Bluetooth audio and microphone support.... Nope If you want to make a Cortana speaker to complete with the other digital assistant speakers out there at least bring your "A" game. This is a great speaker for sound, but if that is all I wanted it for I would have purchased just a speaker. Is it too much to ask to have a speaker that supports full Bluetooth audio and microphone support? If you can only support the consumer Skype product at least give us proper Bluetooth support so we can use the Invoke as a speaker phone until you can broaden your supported app list. I'm trying to really hard to drink the Microsoft cool-aid but it's only giving me indigestion..........

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why didn't I hear about this? Got this as a gift and all I can think of is why haven't I heard of this? There's absolutely zero advertisements on TV and the only smart speakers you ever hear about has Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Harmon Kardon is obviously a go-to for sound quality and Cortana does exactly what I need it to. Would be great if HK would make a whole ecosystem so I could have one in every room

Hello, I live in Australia and I have the Cortana app installed on my phone and it shows an option to set up the Invoke. Does this mean it will work in Australia?

Asked by: Ethan S
As of the now Cortana is not yet available it Australia. You can make your Cortana work by changing your time to US time zone. Thanks.

Can I use this with an Amazon Alexa echo dot? Our fire stick is controlled with an echo Dot and I'd like to pair the echo Dot and invoke for better sound.

Asked by: Kkelly09
You can use it as a Bluetooth speaker for an echo. Also you can open Alexa from the Invoke. You must activate the skill first. Certain things are limited thou. Much more can be done with Cotana and IFTTT.

Does Invoke connect to siriusXM?

Asked by: Crazyee27
Does not connect with SiriusXM so you would have to subscribe one of the only 3 Music apps. They need to open that up to all. Cant even use it as a speaker for your own Music. :( Disappointing because I really like the device quality.

I have two houses. Can I have an Invoke set up in each location and use the same password etc. information?

Asked by: aldon
As both devices would be set up over different WIFI networks, this would probably not be possible. Please visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/cortana for more info or submit a case request at https://www.harmanaudio.com/support-contact.html with more information around your set up in each house, and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

Invoke has an amazing sound. It is a wireless and bluetooth streaming speaker. I am wondering if this is DLNA compatible and allows streaming from other devices like PC's to it? My question is not about Bluetooth streaming but about network stream?

Is INVOKE wireless..? I'm not able to use it without keeping it plugged to the adapter.

Asked by: Rats
It's wireless in a way that it connects to the internet. It needs to be plugged in to the power cord at all time since it's not portable.
