Proven technologies.
To realistically recreate the experience of listening to live sound, MS Series speakers share a number of innovative JBL® technologies and materials that give them a pronounced performance advantage over competitive systems in their price range.

Dual voice-coil subwoofers.
A subwoofer that uses two voice coils with separate connections to drive a single cone doesn’t just greatly expand your wiring options. It maximizes bass output. For example, a 4-ohm dual voice-coil subwoofer with the coils wired in parallel presents a 2-ohm load to your amplifier. That lower impedance means the amp will crank out higher wattage – giving you more of the very thing you want from your subwoofer.

Vented cast-aluminum woofer baskets.
All speakers heat up during use, causing a form of distortion called power compression. Power compression reduces a speaker’s dynamic range by lowering its output level, robbing the sound of its realism. MS woofers feature vented woofer baskets of cast aluminum that dissipate heat more effectively than unvented designs, to play louder and longer with less amplifier power.

Titanium inverted-dome tweeters.
As important as bass output is, realistic, full-spectrum audio also requires bright, pronounced high-frequency sound. MS tweeters feature rigid titanium inverted-dome diaphragms that ring out clearly above both the bass you want and the road noise you don’t.

Component systems.
MS-62C and MS-52C component systems include separate woofer and tweeter modules with high-quality external passive crossovers that feature wire-wound resistors, polypropylene caps and tweeter level and phase controls, to fine-tune system response for the acoustics of your vehicle and personal taste.

Driven to be great.
If music is important to you, you should hear it the way it was meant to be heard, whenever and wherever you listen – and your car is a great place to begin. JBL® MS Series speakers and subwoofers can easily take any car audio system to the next level of performance.
