Just link your computer to the MX400 with a USB cable and control all automation and recall parameters exactly as you would with any software plug-in — while enjoying the sonic benefits only Lexicon hardware can provide. Along with our unique “hardware plug-ins” for PC and Mac® (32-bit only), we’ve also included MX-Edit™ Librarian software so you can store and recall custom programs or pull up your choice of 223 genuine Lexicon settings including 25 dedicated Surround Programs. At its heart, the MX400 is everything you would expect from the company that invented digital reverberation. Seventeen Lexicon reverbs, delays and modulation effects plus dbx® compression and de-essing. A generous LCD display and big comfy knobs you can get your hands around.

    The MX400 features an array of legendary Lexicon reverbs including Small Hall, Large Hall, Surround Hall, Small Plate, Large Plate, Room, Chamber, Gated, Reverse, Vocal Hall, Vocal Plate, Drum Hall, Drum Plate, Ambience, Studio, Arena and Spring.
  • Lexicon delays & modulation effects
    The MX400 offers multiple delay types including Studio Delay, Digital Delay, Tape Delay, Pong Delay, Mod Delay, Reverse Delay, 2-Tap Delay. It also offers Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Rotary, Vibrato, Pitch Shift, Detune and Tremolo/Pan modulation effects.
  • dbx® Dynamics
    The MX400 features dbx Compressor and De-Esser dynamics processing.
  • Dual S/PDIF Digital Inputs/Outputs
    The S/PDIF digital input accepts 44.1kHz / 48kHz signals. When the S/PDIF digital input is selected and active, the S/PDIF LED on the front panel lights.
  • 7 Routing Configurations
    The MX400’s powerful Dual Processor design and five signal routing options allow you to use it as two independent effects processors, or combine the reverbs and effects for a nearly limitless palette of complex sounds. The routing options include Dual Mono, Cascade, Dual Stereo (Parallel), Mono Split, Stereo, Stereo In/Surround Out, and Surround In/Out.
