Rated 1 out of 5 by from LOVED them... for the first 3 days Was SO happy with the audio quality and noise-canceling capabilities – and I consider myself a bit of an audiophile. I listened to songs I've heard for 20 years and experienced new instruments and layers of sound I had never heard before. Loved! Then, 3 days into being a raving fan, they just froze up. Red light on – no buttons reacting to anything. Not being able to charge. Can't do a hard reset. Just dead. Done. Nothing. Such a bummer. Am going to try to return, but what a complete hassle. Noticed online that many have had the same problem with these. Shame to spend this much on a product that has such a basic defect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A JBL Pro-stuffed room in a pair of headphones The headphones seem to be uncomfortable to some, but the discomfort aside, Harman has been working very hard to ensure the experience of a JBL Pro-stuffed disco house is accessible in a pair of headphones. Though the battery life could be a bit better (10 hours as opposed to 15 in the Everest 700 Elite), the TruNote calibration (found in more expensive AKG headphones) is what separates the JBL Everest 300 Elite apart from other headphones in the past. You can customize the noise cancellation and the frequency response through a touch of your smartphone. Moreso, the dual-phase wired and wireless is a plus. So even though the headphones may be uncomfortable to some, it's a recommended product, but the JBL Pro-inspired sound seems to be very beautiful once you get used to the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bluetooth headphones I looked/listened to several bluetooth headphones and these are by far the best for the money. They sound very good and are generally comfortable. One thing that I particularly like is the Android app that can be used with these. The ability to adjust the EQ is excellent. My only minor complain is that they are a tad tight - at least I notice it more since I wear glasses. They push the frames into my head and after around a half hour I have to take the phones off for a bit. One suggestion I have is for the app - make it possible to adjust the auto power down feature. I think it is a bit short.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good when using Bluetooth I bought these headphones 3 months ago and they worked perfectly, but within a week I started having problems when using Bluetooth. It connects to my devices fine, but the sound is really quiet and the left side gives a painful static noise which has been getting worse everyday. I have taken really good care of them too, they have never been damaged and they have been sitting in the same spot since I got them. I have to use the aux cord whenever I want to use them now, which ruins the point of having expensive Bluetooth headphones. I am really disappointed because I expect more out of headphones that I spent $250 on.

One of my ear cushions is falling a part, is there a way to replace the ear cushion?

When the ANC is ON, I hear a hissing sound in the left ear. goes away immediately when ANC is turned off. I updated the headphones adn its telling me 0.6.4 is the latest version.

Hello JBL,  I love my Elite 300, the only thins is I just got them like 2 weeks ago. Call me crazy but does the sound need to be muzzled on the left cup. When I take them off the left cup sounds really muzzled. Could it be to loud?

I experienced this as well when removing the headphones while they are playing. They sound perfect while on but start to distort when taking them off. They must have more freedom to vibrate while not on. In my case it was the volume level. I just turn them down slightly when taking them off if I hear them distort. It really only happened on an airplane that I can remember. Probably bc I bumped the volume up a bit. The cancelling is so great for the plane though! I sometimes will play something at a very low volume to sleep on the plane. Bc if you don't play something, they will turn off after a while. Then you get an ear full of plane ambient noise to wake you up.

Question for the manufacturer:  Are the ear pads in this particular model removable and replaceable?  After a year of sweating into them, they are gross and smelly.

Hi. I was doing firmware update via app and it stopped for some reason saying that I need to connect again my headphones. Now, I’m trying to install the update again but my headphones won’t turn on even when I plugged it. Please help.

I have a delay of the music on my computer (Win10) and on my iPhone 7 Plus while watching videos on e.g. youtube. The delay is about a second and unacceptable. Has anyone had the same experience?
